The cream is effective for skin prone to inflammation, hyperkeratosis, and pigmentation (including post-acne marks), as well as for enlarged pores. It suits all skin types showing the first signs of aging and age-related changes.
Thanks to 0.3% retinol, bakuchiol (a plant-based ingredient with retinoid-like action), and palmitoyl tripeptide-8 (a peptide with anti-inflammatory activity that reduces skin reactivity), along with antioxidants and barrier-repairing ingredients (vitamin E, niacinamide, kombucha extract, squalane, beta-glucan), the cream reduces inflammation in both young and mature skin. It provides an antioxidant effect: refreshing complexion, improving smoothness and light reflection, brightening pigmentation, and evening out tone and micro-texture. The cream is also effective for preventing premature aging: it reduces the appearance of wrinkles and sagging, and firms and densifies the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production.
Contraindications
A retinol cream is not recommended during current or planned pregnancy, or while breastfeeding, due to the risk of accidental contact with a child's sensitive skin or mucous membranes. Do not combine it with other products containing vitamin A derivatives (topical or systemic retinoids). Do not apply the cream to skin with a compromised barrier. Use with caution on hypersensitive skin.
At-home use
Apply the cream to cleansed, dry skin, ideally 15–20 minutes after washing and toning, strictly once a day, in the evening. Spread a small amount (about a pea-sized amount for the face, or twice that for face, neck and décolleté) over the skin until fully absorbed, avoiding the mobile eyelid area. If needed — for example, with pronounced expression lines — the cream can also be applied along the bony orbital rim.
During the first few applications, mild flaking, slight redness, and increased sensitivity may occur; these typically subside over time. If discomfort is significant, pause use for a few days or reduce how often and how much you apply.
For the first 3 weeks, it's recommended to apply the cream twice a week, then move to every other day. If every-other-day use causes strong discomfort or irritation, go back to 2–3 times a week or less often.
Throughout the period of use, apply a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher during the day.
